ITINERARY OF-THE IMPERIAL 7 DAYS TOURS FROM CASABLANCA

Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Chefchaouen

Our driver/guide of your 7-day Morocco itinerary from Casablanca will meet you at the airport or at your accommodation in Casablanca, and then we drive towards Chefchaouen, after visiting and exploring the main attraction of Casablanca (Hassan II Mosque). Then visited some interesting sites in Rabat such as “Royal Palace”, “the Hassan Tower”, and “the Oudayas Kasbah”. Also, you’ll visit the main places on your road. Then, we continue our journey to Chefchaouen. Overnight at riad or hotel in Chefchaouen.

Day 2: Full-day trip to explore Chefchaouen

Today is dedicated to visiting Chefchaouen’s important sights. After your breakfast at your accommodation, you can explore the gorgeous town of Chefchaouen, the most famous touristic attraction in Morocco. Chefchaouen’s most striking feature is the blue paint that is coloring the walls of the Medina in different shapes of blue. Once you’ve entered the Medina of Chefchaouen you should start climbing to “Ras El Maa Waterfall” which is a very famous water source on the top of a mountain, from which you can see most of the city and discover its mountainous terrain. On your way to the top, you’ll come across the following monuments and symbolic buildings like Place “Outa El Hamam” which is a square surrounded by cafes and restaurants, a peaceful place to relax. In the square, you’ll see the “Kasbah” which dates back to the 18th century, a heavily restored walled fortress that now has a lovely garden on Chefchaouen. However, your tour is incomplete if you don’t visit the “Grand Spanish Mosque”, which was built in the 15th century. Overnight stay in Chefchaouen.

Day 3: Chefchaouen – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes

After breakfast at your accommodation in Chefchaouen, the journey starts toward Fes by leaving Chefchaouen. Today the itinerary goes through Ouazzane. Along the way, we’ll visit Volubilis, which is the Oldest Roman post south of Morocco, where you can witness the glory of the Roman Empire and enjoy the beautiful mosaic in the ruined mansions. Then cross Meknes city, we’ll take a stroll in its El Hedim square and Medina. We’ll be sightseeing all the interesting places in the city including Mausoleum Moulay Ismail, Sahrij Souani, and Bab El Mansour which is the biggest gate in Morocco, lunch will be in Meknes. Later on, we’ll carry on our trip to the imperial city of Fes where you’ll spend the night at a hotel or riad.

Day 4: Fes Sightseeing Tour

Today is dedicated to visiting Fez’s important sightseeing and monuments, the oldest cultural and spiritual city in the world. The city was founded in 790 A.C by Moulay Idriss II. Accompanied by a local guide. Fez has very interesting sites and monuments and sites including Al-Qarawiyyin University (the first established university in the world), Bou Inania Madrasa (theological colleges), the Jewish District (Millah), plazas, neighborhood Andaulisians, and potters, museums, Souks (traditional markets), the amazing Tanneries, and Bab Boujloud. Lunch will be at a typical Moroccan restaurant in the old Medina. Fez is also the artisan capital of Morocco. Your full-day trip of Fes includes a short visit to the famous ceramic factory, and then you can enjoy a wonderful panoramic view over the whole Medina of Fes. After the tour, we drive you back to your riad or hotel. Overnight stay in Fes.

Day 5: Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast at your accommodation in Fes, we leave Fes heading southeast, through the city of Ifrane (Switzerland of Morocco), and Cedar Forest in Azrou, the largest woodland in Morocco where apes live Our second stop will be hereafter Ifrane. Afterward, we’ll stop in Midelt for lunch. Our 7-day Morocco itinerary from Casablanca will continue to cross Tizi N’Taghamt and along the magnificent Ziz valley/gorge, where you’ll have a stop for a panoramic view of Ziz valley. Later on, we continue the journey to the desert of Merzouga. Then you’ll leave your luggage in our guest house to start your experience of camel trekking over the golden sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, You’ll see the beautiful view of the sunset on top of a high dune, and then we’ll go back to your desert camp, where you are going to spend your night. After a delicious dinner, time to listen to Berber music played by local nomads under stars, and if you love dancing, you can dance on the tones of barbarian music.

Day 6: Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Todra Gorges – Dades Gorges

Today, you’ll wake up early to witness the beautiful sunrise over the amazing sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. Then, you’ll take a camel ride back to your accommodation in Merzouga, where you’ll have the opportunity to take a shower and enjoy a delicious breakfast. Then we head to Rissani to visit its traditional market, considered to be the largest in the whole of southern Morocco. After that, we’ll leave for Todra Gorges, which is the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco, and stroll in its magnificent canyon. Lunch will be in a restaurant overlooking the valley. After lunch, we’ll continue our day by heading to Dades Valley, where you’ll see the majestic sand castles and the amazing rock formations known as “monkey toes”. The night will be spent at a hotel or riad overlooking the amazing Dades valley.

Day 7: Dades Gorges – Skoura – Ouarzazate – Ait Benhaddou – Marrakech

Finally, on the last day of these 7 days in Morocco, from Casablanca to Marrakech, we’ll leave Dades Gorges towards Marrakech. However, before you head over to Marrakech, you’ll explore the best of the Dades Valley. Then You’ll be traveling through the road of Thousand Kasbahs and have a break to visit Kalaat M’Gouna (Valley of Roses) in this amazing place. You’ll be able to purchase the products of roses. Every year, a rose festival is held in May. We continue our journey to visit Amridil Kasbah in Skoura. Then you are going to visit the Ouarzazate cinema’s studio, where famous movies were shot. It is called Atlas Studio or Hollywood of Africa. Visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou, a rest point for caravans in the past, and the scene for filming many international movies nowadays. The lunch will be in a restaurant overlooking the Kasbah. Finally, we continue to travel through Tizi N’Tichka to Marrakech, it offers impressive views of valleys, mountains, and many Berber villages nearby.
